Threadhopping: yes

(IC)

Hugging this character: yes, but expect consequences.
Kissing this character: yes, but expect consequences.
Flirting with this character: yes, but it's unlikely he'll return the affection.
Fighting with this character: yyyyes but you're going to want to direct your attention to the last part.
Injuring this character: it would be very difficult, so only if your character is freakishly powerful.
Killing this character: you would literally need to cut off all his limbs, drain him of his biomass, and cut off his head. so if your character can do that and get past all his defenses, sure.
Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: yes, but be prepared to be looking into not one by thousands of minds collected by the virus.

and now for the more important part: Alex Mercer is a sentient virus, and a borderline god. he's codenamed ZEUS because of his overwhelming power: he can crack a tank with his bare hands, he can fall from 100 story buildings and hit the ground without taking and damage, he can rip a person in two and consume them for their mass, and oh yeah, and he can do this shit.

I'm not going to beat around the bush here: Alex is a straight-up Godmod as far as characters go. it would take a lot to be able to take him down. he's also disturbingly violent, and if aggravated, probably won't hesitate to tear someone in two and consume them. he's also not a patient person, nor is he a particularly emotional person, and will simply take what he wants if he sees it fit to do so.

that means this character will instigate severe physical violence and non-con. if you are not comfortable with this, i'd say your best bet is just to avoid tagging Alex. I'm not going to just spring gore or vore or rape on anyone who tags; everything will be discussed beforehand. but there's certain experiments, situations, and character dynamics that will render these subjects difficult to avoid.
